Release 2609C covers 11,017 sailings across 14 tiers, with an average length of 5.3 nights. The month is still heavily Caribbean-led: 7,418 sailings, or about two-thirds of the book. Mexico is the clear second region at 1,732 sailings, while Alaska sits at 452. Europe is present but thin at 88 sailings, which matters when you look for unlock points later in the month.
The homeport mix is broad, but the top of the list is concentrated in Florida and the West Coast. Fort Lauderdale leads with 1,595 sailings, followed by Miami at 1,460, Los Angeles at 1,274, Port Canaveral at 1,226, and Tampa at 1,093. Galveston also remains meaningful at 925. Brisbane is the one notable shift in the port mix this month, with 218 sailings after having none in the prior month.
The first meaningful step-up is still at 800 points. That is the first tier with two-guest value and the first place Alaska becomes practical in this release. Below that, 400 and 600 are single-guest cruise-fare offers, mostly short-haul Mexico and Caribbean inventory.
The next breakpoint is 1,200 points, where balcony GTY starts to appear. That tier is still mostly Caribbean and Mexico, but it opens a different cabin class and adds more useful long-haul options. At 1,500 points, Europe becomes practical for the first time this month. The unlock is a 7 Night Italy & France cruise on Explorer of the Seas, which is the first clear Europe entry point in the book.
From 2,000 through 6,500 points, the offer set shifts toward stronger two-guest value and more balcony-heavy inventory. The 4,000 and 6,500 tiers are especially relevant because they mark the move from balcony and oceanview two-guest offers into more consistent suite access. By 9,000 points, the book is firmly in balcony-plus territory with a large Caribbean base and a growing Mediterranean presence.
The strongest single sailing in the release is at 25,000 points: Mariner of the Seas, 10 Night Greece, Italy & Croatia from Barcelona, in a Junior Suite, with $1,500 FreePlay. That is the best-value point on the board and the clearest premium Mediterranean play.
At the low end, the 400-point tier is thin but not useless. The best sailing there is Serenade of the Seas, 7 Night Pacific Coastal Cruise from San Diego, in an Interior GTY. It is a small sample, but it is the only tier where Pacific Coastal shows up as the top option.
The 70,000-point VIP tier is broad and mostly stable. It includes multiple Alaska, Mediterranean, and transatlantic-style sailings, with Mariner of the Seas again standing out on the Europe side and Anthem of the Seas showing the strongest Alaska and transpacific options.
Compared with August 2026, this release has 947 fewer sailings. The reduction is broad rather than isolated: most shared tiers are down in count, but the per-tier free play amounts are unchanged. The cross-tier free-play average moved because the mix shifted, not because the offers were cut.
Brisbane is the clearest month-over-month change in the port mix. It goes from zero sailings last month to 218 this month, which is a real expansion in Australia access. On the region side, the Caribbean remains dominant, but the book is a little less concentrated there than last month, with more relative weight moving into other regions and higher tiers.
The first two-guest tier remains 800 points, and the first balcony two-guest tier remains 1,200 points. Those breakpoints did not move.

Why This Month Matters
Most of this month sits in Caribbean (7418), with departures led by Fort Lauderdale, Florida (1595). That shapes the kind of certificate month this is.
For most players, the biggest practical step up looks like 6500 to 9000 points.
Month Shape
Europe opens at 1500 points, Alaska at 600 points, and longer sailings at 800 points.
The strongest overall tier is 25000 points, while the biggest jump in practical value comes at 6500 to 9000.
That mix makes this month feel more like Caribbean (7418) than a broad all-destination month.
