Royal Intel Monthly Report
Release 2605C is a larger certificate than April 2026, with 11,022 sailings, up 826. The mix is still heavily Caribbean-led, but this month also pushes more inventory into Mexico, Asia, and the long-haul tiers that matter for Alaska and Europe. Average sailing length holds at 5.5 nights, so the release is still built around short-to-mid itineraries rather than true premium-length redemptions.

The headline change is not the average trip length. It is the breadth of the book. The first two-guest offer now starts at 600 points, which is a meaningful shift for lower-tier players. That unlock is not broad in volume, but it does change the floor of the release. At the other end, 40,000-point inventory remains present and still includes Mediterranean Grand Suite sailings, plus a few outlier long-haul options in Asia, Australia, and Europe.
The release is spread across 12 tiers, from 600 to 40,000 points. The middle of the book is where most of the usable volume sits. The 2,000, 3,000, 4,000, 6,500, and 9,000 tiers all carry enough inventory to matter, and each one keeps the same basic shape: Caribbean first, Mexico second, then a thinner layer of Alaska, Asia, and Mediterranean sailings.
The strongest tier by the release’s own scoring is 4,000 points. It has 915 sailings and the best top-end value in the set, led by Ovation of the Seas on a 7 Night Northbound Alaska & Hubbard Glacier Oceanview sailing from Vancouver on 2026-07-10. That sailing is paired with $300 FreePlay and stands out as the best overall cruise in the release.
The weakest tier is 600 points. It is very small at 34 sailings and is mostly Mexico, with only one Alaska sailing in the top set. Even so, it is notable because it is the first tier to open a two-guest offer this month. That makes it a practical entry point, but not a deep one.
Caribbean dominates with 7,702 sailings, followed by Mexico at 1,589. Asia is a distant third at 596, while Mediterranean, Australia, Alaska, Bermuda, Europe, and Hawaii remain niche. The release is still built for mainstream warm-weather cruising, but the long-haul tiers are more visible than in a typical low-end certificate.
That matters because the best-value sailings are not always in the core Caribbean pool. Alaska appears repeatedly in the strongest tiers, especially on Ovation of the Seas out of Vancouver and Seward. Europe is thin overall, but it is present at the right levels to be usable once players reach the 1,200-point tier.
Compared with April 2026, free play is lower across the book. Average free play falls from 838.2 to 62.2, a drop of 776. That is the biggest story in the historical comparison. The release is larger, but the average incentive is materially lighter.
The drop is concentrated at the top. The 40,000-point tier falls by 2,429.2 in average free play, and the 25,000-point tier drops by 1,428.7. The 15,000, 9,000, and 6,500 tiers also come in below their prior averages, though they still hold usable value because the sailing mix is broader and the best itineraries remain concentrated in a few strong ships and regions.
At the lower end, the 1,500-point tier is nearly flat versus April, and 600 points is new for two guests. That suggests the release is less generous in headline cash value, but more accessible in structure.
Ovation of the Seas is the clearest ship-level standout, appearing across the strongest Alaska options and several of the best scores in the release. Brilliance of the Seas is the main Europe and Mediterranean value ship at the mid tiers. Serenade of the Seas shows up as a useful Mexico and Alaska option in the lower and middle tiers, especially where balcony access begins to matter.
The practical takeaway is simple: this release is not a free-play-rich month, but it is a broad one. Players looking for value should focus on the 4,000 to 9,000 range for the best balance of offer size and itinerary quality, while lower-tier players can still find entry-level utility at 600 and 1,200 points.

Why This Month Matters
Most of this month sits in Caribbean (7702), with departures led by Miami, Florida (1560). That shapes the kind of certificate month this is.
For most players, the biggest practical step up looks like 4000 to 6500 points.
Month Shape
Europe opens at 1200 points, Alaska at 600 points, and longer sailings at 1200 points.
The strongest overall tier is 4000 points, while the biggest jump in practical value comes at 4000 to 6500.
That mix makes this month feel more like Caribbean (7702) than a broad all-destination month.
