Release 2605A is a broad, Caribbean-heavy certificate with 13,273 sailings across 13 tiers. The average sailing runs 5.5 nights, matching the prior release on length, but the list is materially larger: 3,077 more sailings than April 2026. That increase is not evenly distributed. The mid and upper mid tiers expanded the most, while the top end stayed comparatively stable.
The certificate still starts at 400 points, and that matters. This is the first release in the current comparison set with a true 400-point entry point for a single-guest fare. The first two-guest tier appears at 400 points as well, and the first balcony two-guest tier does not show up until 1,200 points. That gap is the clearest breakpoint in the month.
The low tiers are mostly short, close-in sailings with limited geography. At 400 and 600 points, the list is small and concentrated in Mexico and Alaska, with 400 points especially thin at just 12 sailings. By 800 points, the certificate opens up enough to include more Alaska and a wider mix of Caribbean, Mexico, Bermuda, and a small amount of Mediterranean and Asia.
The 1,200-point tier is the first place where balcony GTY inventory appears in volume. Below that, the offer mix is largely interior and oceanview. From 1,500 through 3,000 points, the certificate becomes more balanced between one-guest and two-guest fare structures, and the free play ladder starts to matter more than cabin type alone.
At 4,000 points and above, the mix shifts decisively to two-guest fares. Free play becomes the main differentiator: $300 at 4,000, $500 at 6,500, $750 at 9,000, $1,000 at 15,000, $1,500 at 25,000, and $2,500 at 40,000. The sailing counts remain healthy all the way up, with 1,175 sailings still available at the top tier.
The strongest single tier by the release’s own scoring is 9,000 points. Its best cruise is a 7-night Alaska Inside Passage sailing on Serenade of the Seas with a balcony and $750 free play plus $100. That tier also has a strong sailing count of 1,520, which is enough to make it practical rather than merely attractive.
The best-value unlocks are more modest in points but unusually clear in destination value. Alaska becomes practical at 400 points on Ovation of the Seas, and Europe becomes practical at 800 points on Explorer of the Seas with a 7-night Greek Isles itinerary. Both are notable because they arrive before the certificate reaches the balcony-heavy middle tiers.
Compared with April 2026, the release is larger by 3,077 sailings, but average free play is down by $116.3 across the certificate. That is the main tradeoff this month: more inventory, less average cash value. The top end is steady. The 40,000-point tier shows no free play change versus the prior release and only a small decline in sailing count.
The biggest growth came in the middle of the ladder. 4,000 points added 464 sailings, 6,500 added 412, 2,000 added 440, and 1,500 added 432. The low tiers also expanded, but from a much smaller base. The result is a certificate that is easier to use across more point bands, even if the average free play is softer than last month.
Caribbean remains the center of gravity at every tier, but the release is not one-note. Mexico is the main fallback at the low end, Alaska is the best-value region across several tiers, and Asia and Mediterranean become relevant once you reach the upper middle and top tiers. For players tracking practical redemptions, the key thresholds are 400 for Alaska, 800 for Europe, 1,200 for balcony access, and 9,000 for the strongest overall balance of sailing count and value.

Why This Month Matters
Most of this month sits in Caribbean (9237), with departures led by Miami, Florida (1899). That shapes the kind of certificate month this is.
For most players, the biggest practical step up looks like 6500 to 9000 points.
Month Shape
Europe opens at 800 points, Alaska at 400 points, and longer sailings at 800 points.
The strongest overall tier is 9000 points, while the biggest jump in practical value comes at 6500 to 9000.
That mix makes this month feel more like Caribbean (9237) than a broad all-destination month.
Historical Comparison
This certificate has 3,077 more sailings than April 2026
2026-05 has 3,077 more sailings across all tiers than April 2026. Average free play is -$116.3 across the certificate, but the bigger change is how much smaller the sailing list is overall.
