Needs A Closer Look in June 2026

The weakest tier in 2606D is 800 points. It has only 153 sailings, the smallest book in the release, and its average top score is 105.1, well below the stronger mid and upper tiers.

What This Means

The tier is not unusable. In fact, its best sailing is a solid Alaska option: Ovation of the Seas on a 7 Night Southbound Alaska & Hubbard Glacier cruise from Seward on 2026-08-28 in an Interior GTY for two guests. The top five also include more Alaska sailings on Ovation and Voyager, so the tier does have a clear destination theme.

The problem is breadth. The cabin mix is narrow, with 94 Interior GOBO sailings and 49 Oceanview GOBO sailings doing most of the work. Balcony inventory is minimal. Regionally, the tier is mostly Caribbean and Mexico, but the strongest-value options are concentrated in Alaska, which limits flexibility.

This tier is still useful as an entry point, especially for players trying to get into the book with the lowest point requirement. But compared with the rest of the release, it is the least balanced and the least flexible. If you can move up even one tier, the options improve quickly.

Why This Tier Stands Out

This is not just a count of how many sailings land in a tier. It also gives more credit to better ships, stronger destinations, longer trips, better room types, and rarer combinations.

A lower tier can still hide a gem, but the stronger tier is where the best options tend to cluster more often.
