Release 2604D is a larger certificate than March, with 10,196 sailings across 11 points tiers. The mix is still heavily Caribbean-led, but the month also carries meaningful volume in Mexico, Asia, Alaska, and a thin layer of Europe and Mediterranean inventory. Average sailing length holds at 5.5 nights, unchanged from the prior release.
The headline change is not itinerary length. It is breadth. This release adds 1,950 sailings versus March 2026, while average free play falls by $90.8 to $838.2. That means more choice, but less value on average. The certificate also loses the low-end two-guest structure seen last month: the first two-guest tier is no longer present, and the first balcony two-guest tier is also absent.
The practical ladder starts at 800 points, where Alaska appears immediately. Europe becomes usable at 1,200 points, and Hawaii starts to matter at 1,500 points. From there, the release scales in a fairly clean way: 2,000 points opens more Hawaii and Alaska, 3,000 points adds a stronger Mediterranean layer, and 4,000 points is the first tier where balcony inventory and $300 free play become common enough to treat as a real planning point.
Above 6,500 points, the certificate becomes more consistent rather than dramatically better. Free play steps up in predictable bands: $500 at 6,500, $750 at 9,000, $1,000 at 15,000, $1,500 at 25,000, and $2,500 at 40,000. The top end does not change region mix much; it mainly improves cabin type and bonus amount.
The strongest tier this month is 1,500 points. Its best sailing is a 12 Night Hawaii Cruise on 2604D06, departing September 29, 2026 from Anthem of the Seas®, with interior GOBO and $50 free play. That is the best score in the release and the clearest example of value outrunning the raw free play amount.
The weakest tier is 15,000 points. It still offers solid Alaska and some Mediterranean, but the value curve flattens. Compared with the lower tiers, the jump in free play is not large enough to justify the point cost unless the sailing itself is the goal.
The most notable unicorns sit at 40,000 points: multiple Grand Suite sailings in Alaska and the Western Mediterranean, mostly on 2604DVIP2, with $2,500 free play. Those are the only offers in the release that combine premium cabin class with the highest bonus band.
Compared with March 2026, this release is larger by 1,950 sailings and lower by $90.8 in average free play. The region mix also shifts slightly: Caribbean and Mexico both grow, Alaska edges up, and Europe remains small but present. The biggest structural change is the disappearance of the 400 and 600 point tiers, which removes the very lowest entry points from the certificate.
Tier-by-tier, free play is flat versus the prior release at every tier where a comparison exists. The change is in availability, not payout. That makes 2604D a wider certificate, but not a richer one.

Why This Month Matters
Most of this month sits in Caribbean (6957), with departures led by Wonder Of The Seas® (580). That shapes the kind of certificate month this is.
For most players, the biggest practical step up looks like 6500 to 9000 points.
Month Shape
Europe opens at 1200 points, Alaska at 800 points, and longer sailings at 800 points.
The strongest overall tier is 1500 points, while the biggest jump in practical value comes at 6500 to 9000.
That mix makes this month feel more like Caribbean (6957) than a broad all-destination month.
Historical Comparison
This certificate has 1,950 more sailings than March 2026
2026-04 has 1,950 more sailings across all tiers than March 2026. Average free play is -$90.8 across the certificate, but the bigger change is how much smaller the sailing list is overall.
