What This Means
The clearest example is Voyager of the Seas on a 7 Night Alaska Experience cruise from Seattle. It is the top sailing at 600 points and sets the tone for the tier: usable itinerary, standard interior GTY, and enough score to compete with the better Mexico options in the same band.
The Alaska signal strengthens quickly above that. At 800 points, Alaska becomes one of the dominant regions in the top five, with Ovation of the Seas and Voyager of the Seas both showing strong Alaska sailings. By 1200 points, Alaska is still present, but now it is competing with better balcony access and broader regional choice.
If you are trying to reach Alaska with the lowest practical entry point, 600 points is the number to watch. If you want Alaska with better cabin selection, 800 points is the cleaner step up.
